What to notice across all eight. He is warm in the group chat, precise in the quarterback room, apologetic to Ben, transactional with Kevin because Kevin set it up that way, and monosyllabic with his head coach. The only thread in which anybody tells him something before he has to find it out on his own is Shaffer's, and Shaffer has now apologised for the same failure twice in two weeks.
